#5150 is an external battery backup that, when used in conjunction with the internal battery backup is capable of extending the continuously powered mainstore (CPM) time for all main storage sizes to at least 48 hours.

Models 640, 650, 730, 740, 840, S30, S40, SB1, SB3 come with an internal battery backup that is capable of maintaining the CPM on 16GB of main storage for at least 24 hours. #5150 is required when the main storage size exceeds 16GB.

#5150 can also be purchased for the purpose of increasing the CPM time over that of the internal battery backup.
