iSeries IBM 9406, #2817 PCI 155MBPS MMF ATM

#2817 is a 155Mbps Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) PCI card that allows the server to be attached into an ATM network using the Multi-Mode Fiber (MMF) 62.5 micron interface. This interface is intended for connection to both local area switches and direct connection to service provider equipment. #2817 will typically be used where 155Mbps speeds are required over distances of less than 2Km.

This feature replaces #4816 on systems with OS/400 V5R1. PCI card slots required: One.
